Education lies in communication, and growth lies in companionship. In order to further establish an open and transparent platform for communication between home and school, allowing parents to experience the campus management and educational environment up close. From October 12th to 14th, the Senior High School Department of our school held the first parent inspection activity for the process-based academic literacy assessment, jointly witnessing the learning style of students at school and experiencing the meticulous management of the department up close.
To begin with, on the day of the event, parent representatives arrived at school on time and proceeded in an orderly manner to the administrative building meeting room. The department leaders extended a warm welcome to the parent representatives, thanking them for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend this event, and giving them a detailed introduction to the route and relevant precautions of this inspection activity, thus looking forward to taking this on-site observation as an opportunity for home and school to work together in safeguarding students' growth.
Afterwards, accompanied by the school leadership, the parent representatives first came to Office 101 in the Senior High School Department teaching building, where they viewed the live situation of each classroom through the monitoring screen. Later on, they walked along the corridor to inspect the periphery of each classroom and the international department classrooms, who parents observed quietly, seeing students' proper demeanor and self-disciplined spirit, and truly feeling the rigorous and orderly management of the department and the excellent class and learning atmosphere.
What's more, after the inspection session ended, parent representatives entered the art intensive class classroom, stopping to feel the intense exam preparation atmosphere of Senior Three art students, learn about our school's diverse cultural characteristics in education, and experience the charm of art education. Subsequently, parents strolled through the campus, visiting campus landscapes, learning about campus culture construction, and personally experiencing the strong educational atmosphere of the Senior High School Department.
In a nutshell, not only is this parent visit activity a form of supervision, but also a face-to-face communication between home and school. More noticeably, Anqing Foreign Language School adopted an open and honest attitude, allowing parents to enter the teaching sites and witness students' growth. In the future, the Senior High School Department will continue to build diverse platforms for communication and deepen the collaboration between home and school, uniting the educational efforts to accompany each student to move forward steadily and continue to grow.
